The simple answer is, no. While we do give a level of care in the full care wing of the assisted living facility that is similar to that of a nursing home, we are not technically licensed as a nursing home. Also, we make every attempt to have Our Father’s House be a family setting more than an institutional facility. The design is more homey with a living room where elderly are able to smell the food being cooked and enjoy friendship with others. The nursing and personal care is delivered in a manner that helps elderly feel they are served with a high degree of honor.
